Public Works & Utilities
Moulton has a city crew comprised of six people whose function is to oversee the operation and maintenance of the city's infrastructure.
While they all work together and are cross-trained, each has a primary responsibility.

Electric Department
This department is responsible for:
- installation
- operation
- maintenance
- repair and troubleshooting of the city's electrical system and facilities.
- The department also reads meters
Water & Wastewater Department
This department is responsible for:
- Maintenance of two wastewater treatment plants
- Maintains seven sewer lift stations
- Responsible for the maintenace of three water wells
- Installs new water and sewer lines
- Performs fire hydrant maintenance
- Performs maintenance on water and sewer lines
- Reads meters

Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of Moulton's City Park along with the following:
- Landscaping around Veteran's Memorial
- Assists in animal control and maintaining the animal shelter

Streets & Drainage
Responsible for maintaining streets and ditches within Moulton's city limits. Other responsibilities include:
- Mowing
- Installation and repair of signage
- Culvert installations
- Pavement repair
